Shear Design have been the framework consultant engineers for the University of Wales, Caerleon for the past 4 years. During this period we have undertaken design and structural survey commissions on numerous refurbishment schemes including:-
• Overoofing to Edward Anwyl Building
• Refurbishment of Kegie Building
• Design for replacement external steelwork staircase
• Structural modifications / refurbishment of theatre
• Upgrade of campus rear road
• Complete design and contract administration of new 50 space car park using a sustainable urban design system utilising Formpave to naturally percolate to underlying strata (see below).
