Barry Waterfront Housing Development

Barry Waterfront is a large-scale residential development delivered across multiple phases by major national housebuilders. The project required civil and structural engineering input at significant scale, supporting the delivery of new housing, roads, junctions, accesses, and site-wide infrastructure. 

We provided full civil and structural engineering services, including the development of a bespoke flat slab foundation solution suited to the site and the requirements of volume housebuilding. Our work supported efficient construction across the development while responding to ground conditions, infrastructure constraints, and the needs of multiple delivery partners. 

Our civil engineering input included the design of roads, junctions, access arrangements, drainage, and associated Section 278 works, supporting the integration of the development with the surrounding highway network.
