Project Details
Bridge House Student Accommodation in Glasgow is a facade remediation project involving the assessment of the existing building structure and secondary framing systems to support proposed facade replacement works.
We are providing structural engineering input to assess whether the existing SFS and primary building structure are capable of supporting the proposed new facade system. This includes consideration of load paths, existing structural capacity, fixings, support zones, and the interaction between the facade replacement works and the retained building structure.
Our role also includes structural assessment of the existing roof slab in relation to proposed MEP upgrades and changes, helping to ensure that new plant or services loads can be accommodated safely within the existing structure.
