Bristol Port Company, Avonmouth & Royal Portbury Dock 

Our work for Bristol Port Company has included the design of a range of industrial units and associated infrastructure across Avonmouth and Royal Portbury Dock. These projects require robust civil and structural engineering solutions capable of supporting large-format industrial buildings, heavy-duty yards, access roads, and port-related operational demands. 

We have designed various units exceeding 4,000m2 in plan area, including piled foundations and steelwork frame solutions. The engineering design needed to respond to the site conditions, operational requirements, building layouts, and long-term durability expectations associated with port and industrial environments. 

Our role also included the design of access roads, concrete service yards, and drainage infrastructure serving the buildings, yards, and roads. These works supported the delivery of practical, resilient facilities suited to demanding industrial use.
