Cosmos is a purpose-built student accommodation scheme located on Fitzwilliam Street in Sheffield. The project required full civil and structural engineering services to support a large urban PBSA development.
We provided piled foundation design and the design and detailing of the reinforced concrete frame, developing a structural solution suited to the accommodation layout and construction programme. The scheme required careful consideration of party wall interactions, urban site constraints, and coordination with surrounding infrastructure.
Our civil engineering role included Section 278 works and associated infrastructure design, supporting the integration of the development with the local highway network and public realm.
