The Gwent EuroPark industrial units form part of an ongoing programme of industrial and logistics development, requiring robust civil engineering solutions to support operational yards, drainage infrastructure, and building substructures.
We provided full civil engineering design services, including SAB submission support and sustainable drainage coordination. A key element of the project was the design of large external concrete service yards, with areas exceeding 10,000m2, developed to support intensive industrial use, vehicle movements, and long-term durability.
Our role also included substructure design and review of steelwork frame designs undertaken by the fabricator. This ensured the building foundations, structural frame, yard construction, and drainage infrastructure were coordinated as part of an integrated engineering solution.
