Project Details
The Mon Motors Volvo development at Cardiff Gate Business Park involved the delivery of a new commercial automotive facility, requiring coordinated civil and structural engineering input to support the building, external areas, drainage, and car parking requirements.
We provided full civil engineering design for the project, including the design of the car park and associated external infrastructure. Our role also included SAB submission support, helping to address sustainable drainage requirements and secure the necessary approvals for the development.
From a structural perspective, we designed the substructure and reviewed the steelwork frame design undertaken by the fabricator, helping to ensure compatibility between the frame, foundations, and wider building design.
