The Burj, Digbeth

The Burj is a residential development on Bradford Street in Digbeth, Birmingham, forming part of the ongoing regeneration of the area. The project required a coordinated civil and structural engineering approach to support a steel-framed residential scheme on piled foundations. 

We provided full civil and structural engineering services, including steelwork frame design, piled foundation design, and coordination of party wall interactions with neighbouring properties. The scheme required careful consideration of structural interfaces, adjacent constraints, and construction sequencing. 

Our civil engineering role included associated infrastructure and Section 278 highway works, helping integrate the development with the surrounding public realm and highway network.
